Opening
in 2005, the Bill Clinton Presidential Library and Park is the 12th
Presidential Library in the US. It includes the only full scale
replicas of the Oval Office and Cabinet Room. It also contains the
largest collection of presidential papers and artifacts in the world.
The
Clinton Presidential Center is located within a 30 acre city park next
to the Arkansas River. Housed at the site are the 20,000 square foot
Clinton Library and Museum, along with the Clinton School of Public
Service and Clinton Foundation office.
The Bill Clinton Presidential Library
building features an 80-seat theater, multi-purpose event facilities,
café, research offices and support space for archivists and scholars.
76 million pages of paper documents, 75,000 museum artifacts,
and nearly 2 million photographs form the core collection of the
Clinton Library Presidential Archives.
If
you are looking for something to do in Little Rock, a trip to the
Clinton Library and Museum should be near the top of your list. Almost
anyone will find something of interest to them. And the cafe isn't bad
either.
